About Us
TEMPO makes running belts for people who'd rather think about their run than their gear.
We started TEMPO after one too many long runs spent shoving a bib pin back into place, chasing a phone that had bounced out of a waistband, or feeling a cheap belt ride up around mile 15. Off-the-shelf running belts were either too flimsy to trust or too bulky to forget about — so we built our own.
Every TEMPO belt is designed around one idea: gear that moves with your body so you can stay focused on your run, not your equipment. That means low-profile webbing that sits flat instead of bouncing, adjustable fits that work on very different bodies, and just enough storage — not a backpack's worth, not a coin pocket's worth, but exactly enough for race bibs, gels, a phone, keys and cards.
What we make
Two families of belt, built for two different jobs. PACE is our slim race-day belt — built to hold your bib and a couple of gels and then disappear until you cross the line. CARRY is our storage belt — roomier, for runners who want their phone, keys and cards on them without carrying a thing.
How we build
Every TEMPO design is prototyped, worn on real training runs, adjusted, and worn again before it ships. We design in Australia, and we obsess over the small things — buckle placement, seam position, how a belt feels at kilometre 30 versus kilometre 3 — because that's where most running gear quietly fails.
